March 6 - In-House Games Run at the VFW Post #5996, 3:00 to 7:00
p.m.. All proceeds to support the Post. $10.00 per game card; 25% payout to the winner. Come help support
your local veterans post.
March 6 - Annual Polar Bear Ride - register at the Twisted Spoke
from 11:00 a.m. to Noon. This is a ride, not a run. All riders will pull out together at the end of
registration. $10.00 per hand with 100% payout to best hand.
March 21- Anderson County ABATE Chapter Meeting.
March 24 - Rodeo Committee meeting, 7:00 p.m. at Pappy's Ancient Iron
March 27 - Carolina Thrill Ride, 6th annual benefit for
Community Long Term Care Client Fund. (Rain date March 28). Signup at Hard Knox clubhouse at 11:00 a.m.
$25.00 for hand/t-shirt/meal and live music at after party. $15 for 2nd hand. Cash prizes and burn-out contest.
March 28 - MAA Committee Meeting at 1:30 p.m. If weather good, plan to
meet in parking lot at Whitehall Extension to ride the planned route for the run, check road conditions/detours/mileage,etc.
with organizational meeting to follow. If weather bad, organizational meeting only to be held at Simon's at 1:30.
